Will I be able to use my room all year round?
Yes. The AURA Roof System dramatically improves comfort in both summer and winter — making your space up to 90% warmer in colder months and 70% cooler in hot weather, while also reducing solar glare, external noise, and increasing privacy
Do I need building control approval
Most likely, yes. Solid roof replacements and home extensions are considered permanent structures and usually require Building Regulations approval. The AURA Roof System is fully approved by MFA Building Control, which helps simplify and speed up the certification process. How long will the installation take?
While every project is unique, a typical AURA roof installation takes just 2–3 days to complete. In most cases, the roof is fully secured and made weather-tight on the first day, allowing the rest of the work to follow smoothly.
Is condensation a real issue?
Not with AURA. Our system is designed with built-in ventilation and uses naturally insulating timber, which has a much lower thermal conductivity than metal.
